The new traffic situation and problems are emerging on the landside of airports , particularly as the rail transportation has been introduced, forming a wide range of traffic transfer pattern on the landside of the airports.Meanwhile, in the citys transportation planning and construction, transport hubs have flourished around the country basing on the demand for integrated transport, which also contributed to the construction and development of the airport landside transport hubs (GTC, ground transportation center) . Airport landside transport hub is a traffic transfer and convergence platform on airport’s landside. In this paper, firstly through the comparative study of different hubs, combining with three kinds of transfer mode analysis including the United States, Europe and Asia on airport’s landside, the construction conditions of the airport landside transport hubs are proposed, China’s airport landside traffic transfer modes are also been proposed according to its landside traffic organization characteristics ; Secondly at the macro-level ,the paper analyzes the effect factors for the transport hubs’ planning, basing on this, the convergence models with the terminal are proposed.It is also been summarized that China’s airports landside transport hubs’ planning features and convergence modes; Thirdly at the micro -level, the paper analyzes the layout requirements for transport hubs, and the corresponding layout principles are proposed. In accordance with China’s airport landside transport hubs’ specificities, the paper also analyzes the special needs and the corresponding principles.Finally against the analysis of Chinas airport landside transport hubs’ problem, the corresponding solution strategys are put forward to provide a r
