ABSTRACT  PAGE 3 ABSTRACT With the rapid development of the science and technology, the technology tendency of modern communication presentsmore and more broadband, mobile, miniaturization and integration, the research of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) plays an important role in communication system. For large communication system, EMC index system must be established based on the system requirements first.Under the constraint of task demand, application layer index is the global aim of system design, which should meet the top quantify design; moreover, the design layer index under the technical constraints, which acted as the concrete elements to ensured system design, needs specific analysis and assessment to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility general index is reasonable and feasible. The construction technology combined the two index system construction technology has become a research focus of system level EMC. The primary restrictions in traditional EMC index are focus on the EMC performance of hardware device or system itself, whilethe effect of system integrated application is unconcerned, which lack of system application index. For the serious problems, a new scheme of EMC index system based on the hierarchical mapping combined with the characteristics of EMC and the properties of communication system is proposed. In other words, the EMC index system contains both Application Index which reflects the system performance and Design Index which manifests the design key elements, including the top-down integrate and disintegrate of the index and the bottom-up evaluation, aprocess and method “system construction - disintegration and quantization – evaluation and verification - feedback and calibration” for parameter construction is presented.
