Network communication raises a new situation, namely “Anti- Silence Spiral phenomenon. The anonymity, interactivity and backbone are the most important elements for the “Anti- Silence Spiral. Through observing so many cases for the network transmission of public opinion, I find it out that the spread of public opinions is rational or irrational. The rational Anti- Silence Spiral mode makes the minority and grassroots present their legitimate interest. This helps maintain the social ecological balance, and promote the healthy development of network. But the irrational spiral of silence mode results in the extreme network opinions, which makes the network group polarized and the society destroyed. In this paper, I take the content analysis, questionnaire survey method, and comparable analysis. I make investigation for the expression of the public in the network forum, and get the certifications for the existence of Anti- Silence Spiral mode. I illustrate the example of 2011 A Female sells body to save father” event. In this case, I use statistic tools to analyze net citizens? attitude in different period. I get the point that Anti- Silence Spiral mode do exist in the spread of network communication. Then I further explore the “Anti- Silence Spiral” mode?s propagation path, theme type, trigger factors and causes. There are three characters for the spread path of “Anti- Silence Spiral” mode. Firstly, the phenomenon of odious public opinions happens more frequently. Secondly, the lag and abruptness coexist. Furthermore, gambling and fusion coexist. From the view of subjects? type, interest driver, psychological driver and the information superiority propel the network transmission in the opposite side.
