哈尔滨工业大学工程硕士学位论文哈尔滨工业大学工程硕士学位论文 -II- -II- Abstract Due to the progress of science and technology on modern network, MEMS, wireless communication and sensor technology, the wireless sensor network generates and development up. It’s a landmark technology. Wireless sensor network is through the wireless communications forms of self-organization network system, the network system consists of a large amount of miniature sensor node, the nodes deployment in the relevant test area. The systems main work principle is collecting network coverage to perceive object information, and through the cooperation of perception and processing the information way, and send to the observer. All of the nodes in the WSN have limited energy. Their ability of calculating and memory is limited. Because of these characteristic, the research on WSN is carrying on. The paper focuses on the MAC protocols in the WSN. At the first, the study about MAC protocol has been introduced. Secondly, we present some kinds of typical protocols. In all of them, the MAC protocol with CSMA/CA is studied deeply. The MAC protocol with CSMA/CA is one of the MAC protocols with competition. It has good capability in the energy save and collision avoidance. In the protocol, the backoff algorithm is the most important on the aspect collision avoidance. Based on the theory study, we improve the BEB, then simulate the BEB and the BEB improved through the OMNeT++ software, and analyse their performances in light of channel throughput and average packet delay and network lifetime. In the network which include 50 nodes ,the protocol that improved ameliorates in the channel throughput and average packet delay and network lifetime. .
