A number of Diabetes Research Institute believes that Metformin can be used as first-line drugs in clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes. Therefore， based on the given lifestyle management， Metformin monotherapy is the most preferred regimen in the treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients. In recent years， Metformin has been paid more and more attention in addition to its hypoglycemic effects. Many studies have shown that Metformin also plays a regulatory role in blood pressure， lipids metabolism， body weight and so on. This article reviews the effects of Metformin on related metabolic parameters in patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus under the influence of standardized lifestyle（diet and exercise）. 　　[Key words] Metformin； Metabolic markers； Preliminary diagnosis； Type 2 diabetes mellitus 　　2型糖尿病（type 2 diabetes mellitus，T2DM）是一?N合并多种代谢障碍的代谢性疾病。初诊2型糖尿病的患者若合并血压异常、血脂代谢紊乱等危险因素，会加速疾病进展。因此，目前治疗2型糖尿病的主要目标已由单纯的降糖治疗，渐渐转向以控制血糖为核心，对血压、血脂和其他代谢指标全面控制，从而防治心脑血管等各种并发症。作为当前治疗2型糖尿病的一线用药，与大多数现代药物不同，二甲双胍是来源于草药中的天然产物，并不是针对特定的途径或疾病机制而设计的[1]。有研究统计，全世界已有超过一亿人在服用。然而，尽管它已经在临床上使用了近60年，其分子作用机制仍备受争议，对于其是否会影响2型糖尿病患者的相关代谢指标也存在质疑。因此，基于对疾病早期全面调控的重要性，现就二甲双胍单药应用治疗初诊2型糖尿病对其相关代谢指标的影响进行综述，以期为临床医师在临床上对初诊2型糖尿病患者应用二甲双胍提供参考。 　　1 对血糖的影响 　　1.1 降糖机制 　　1.1.1 肝选择性的作用 二甲双胍的调控作用主要是减少肝脏葡萄糖的输出，其次是在外周组织（肌肉组
