[Abstract] Objective To explore the clinical effect of nursing management model in controlling hospital infection. Methods A total of 248 hospitalized patients in our hospital from January to March 2016 were chosen as study subjects. The patients were randomly divided into routine group(n=124) and nursing group(n=124). The routine group was given routine care, and the nursing group was treated with nursing management intervention. It can fundamentally improve the quality and level of work in health care workers and minimize the incidence of nosocomial infection through the implementation of health education guidance and training, avoiding cross-infection, establishing a sound management system, standardizing the operation of technology, strengthening the management of medical equipment and strictly implementing the disinfection system. And they were chosen as important indicators of measuring the overall level and quality of care. Indicators including the probability of hospital infection, air quality, the average number of bacteria between the two groups were observed and compared. Results There were 10 cases of hospital infection in the nursing group(4.84%), significantly lower than 22 cases in the conventional group (17.74%). The pass rate of air quality environmental monitoring was 100% in the nursing group, significantly higher than that in the conventional group(78%). The avera
