His book is full of meaningful ideas and plays a ver y vital role in the traditional culture. Up to now, the Tao and Vir tue that he were rewarded and respected highly still have a positive meaning for us today. He explores the deepest philosophy of life from the wonderful phenomena of nature. His personal philosophy of life, like water benefits ever ything without evoking conflicts or resistance, and has a mind as open as a valley, which can help the common people improve themselves. Nowadays, the concept of right and wrong, good and evil, beauty and ugliness was confounded, and more and more people lack of sense of fair ness and justice, and the sense of shame, which make some social problems happen. Experience can be gained from the masterpiece Lao-tzu. In order to provide some suggestions and solutions to the common people and the society, the thesis mainly studies the system of ethical education ideology of Lao-tzu and analyzes the characteristic of the ethical education ideology of Lao-tzu.
