11 11 Research 00 the Teacher Resource Equity io the Perspective of Urbanrural Difference Major: Education administration Postgraduate: Tang Sh叫u Tutor: Guo Ying Abastrat: Mianyang is wel1帽known for its excel1ent education,but 出is does not mean that education in al1 schools is excel1ent.Just like in other 町eas in China, the difference of educationa1 development level between urban and rural areas is stil1 veηr evident.丁eacher resource is the key element of revita1ization of education and educational resources. Therefore,the research on teacher resource equity hω its theoretical and practical significance. Through questionnaires and interviews ,the authour of this pap时 h邸 a basic knowledge and understanding of the situation of educational resources in Mianyang. Despite a good momentum in the development of private education, Mianyang ,known as 也e city of Science and Technology has a very si伊ificant defference between urban and rural education,especially between urban and rural teacher resources. Teacher resource is the core element,which plays a key role in the quality of education. In order to coordinate the allocation of urban and rural teacher resources,authorities in Mianyang have conducted a series of a忧empts, suchω: training rural teachers,improving construction of rural teacher training bases,increasing input in the construction of rural teacher collective,implementing urban-rural teacher exchanges. Through the ana1ysis of the means of balancing urban-rural teacher resources ,the author fmds 由at there are sti1l many problems in 由e cuπent initiatives.
