万方数据万方数据 Abstract Abstract The material of the translation practice is selected from a medical review “Understanding HIV Latency: The Road to an HIV Cure” from Annual Reviews in 2015. This article consists of four parts, namely the abstract, introduction, review and conclusion. This report is mainly composed of translation task description, translation process description, translation case analysis, and translation summary and future prospects. The report focuses on the part of translation case analysis, which includes the selectional of typical examples the author encountered, analyses of the difficulties from various angles, choices of translation skills and suggested translation the author. In the last part, by reviewing and summarizing difficulties which emerged during the whole translating process, the author has realized the impending needs of translation talents in technical areas and the great significance of Computer Aided Translation to the translation of modern practical writing, in the hope that this report will provide certain references for those in translation career or students who are interested in translation.
