For their own business needs and economic benefits，the small and medium hotels have to adapt to these chan!l:es. it become a serious oroblem that the old hotel soaces transformation The thesis study on the transformation of small and medium hotel s public space design，with the limit of size and structure of the original facilities in the hotel，the transformat ion process are subject to cel1ain constraints，has ils parlicularily.
