8Aunit 3Reading (1)说课稿 Good morning, honorable judges. Today I feel very happy to have the chance to communicate with you about the teaching plan of Unit 3 Reading from Book 8A Fun With English. I will divide the instructions into seven parts. They are Teaching Material Analysis, Teaching Aims, Teaching Emphasis, Teaching Difficulties, Teaching Methods, Teaching Aids and Teaching Procedures. Part 1 Teaching Material Analysis This passage is from Unit 3 from Book 8A Fun With English. We have learnt Friends in Unit1, and school life in Unit2. Unit3 is focused on the topic of “A day out.” They jointly form the first module “teenage life”. And it’s a reading material. It’ll input lots of words and phrases about the topic into students’ mind. Thus it can lay a foundation for the output in main task. Therefore, this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material. Part 2.Teaching Aims 1. Knowledge Aims: After the lesson, students should be able to (1) Master some knowledge about places of interest in the world. (2) Get information about the trip to the World Park in Beijing. (3) Learn to describe their feelings about traveling using adjectives. 2. Ability Aims: Improve the ability of getting information by reading, especially the ability of getting details by scanning. 3. Emotional Aims: Learn more about Beijing and the places of interest, then foster their love for their lives and our country. Part3. Teaching Emphasis To get information about the trip to the World Park and master the four-skilled words and phrases. Part4. Teaching Difficulties Lots of names of foreign places of interest and some long sentences may be the obstacles of understanding the passage. Part5. Teaching Methods In this period I will adopt the Three-stage model, Task-based Language Teaching Method. The English Curriculum Standard advocates teachers to adopt the task-based language Teaching. TBLT can stimulate students’ initiative in learning and
