哈尔滨工业大学建筑学硕士学位论文 - II - Abstract In recent years, along with the development of China’s tourism economy and increasingly frequent business activities, the construction of urban inns is developing rapidly. From 2006 to the end of 2010, China Inn’s market share increased by 25%, their number had reached more than 4000 and accounts for 29% of all hotels. However, the lack of theoretical writings of relevant building types is increasingly contradictory with the needs of current inns construction projects. Thus systematic study of the design of urban inns is imperative. With the urban inns’ generating and developing process as starting point, this paper summed up the relevant city inn building characteristics and proposed a series of specific design strategies and techniques based on summarization extensive research and a variety of other research technique. Firstly, this paper conducted in-depth analysis for the characteristics of urban inns and then drew the inherent qualities in location, function, space, form that is different from the traditional accommodations. Subsequently, with the analysis of urban hotel’s characteristics as theoretical base, the paper explored the strategies of urban inns design and proposed the following three strategies: overall layout and reasonable coordination, function meeting inns requirements, taking into account of space, comfort and convenience, using the research methods such as quantification and multi-directional contrast. Finally, the paper conducted comprehensive study and exploration for the key points of urban inn and corresponding design methods, and then with practical problem is architectural design proposed design methods on function, layout, space, environment, form, style, etc. The paper integrated the study achievements of architecture psychology, urban design, environmental science, statistics and other, with reference of many Chinese and foreign literature of theoretical research and practical project experience.
