Last but not least, I would like to thank my beloved family, for their care, generous support, and great confidence in me. i 摘要 幽默普遍存在于各个国家以及文化中，但是不同国家不同文化背景下的人却 很难分享幽默。同样，在字幕翻译的过程中，幽默的缺失也是不可避免的。翻译 研究者们一直以来对字幕翻译进行了大量的研究，并积累了丰富的经验，但是长 期以来却忽略了对于字幕翻译中幽默部分的研究，这与其在影视翻译中所占据的 重要地位极不相称。 相较于普通文字含义的直接表达，幽默文字的含义表达在翻译时会出现很严 重的缺失。大部分学者从关联论、功能翻译论以及语用论等方面，对字幕翻译中 的幽默翻译进行了研究，却很少有学者对字幕翻译中幽默的缺失和补偿策略给予 足够的关注。 幽默的特点是通过引发笑声来起到娱乐或讽刺的作用，因此在字幕翻译中幽 默翻译的首要任务就是保留原文的功能。然而基于不同的语言文化背景，要同时 做到忠于原文，又保留其功能是几乎不可能实现的。本文作者在其他学者已做研 究的基础上，结合文献综述和案例分析，试图对字幕翻译中造成幽默缺失的主要 原因——语言差异和文化差异进行更深一步的研究，同时提出了实用的补偿策 略。 关键词：字幕翻译，幽默翻译，补偿策略 ii Abstract Humor commonly exists in all countries or cultures. However, it is difficult for people from different countries and cultures to share humor. Also, in the process of subtitle translation, loss of information is unavoidable. Translators have been making substantial research on subtitle translation and accumulated abundant experience. But scholars of translation studies have long overlooked the study of translation of humors in subtitles, which is discrepant with its importance in audiovisual translation.
