The recorded medical cases in Sun Shi Yi An are all carefully selected cases， and the diseases and treatment are with certain representative. The contents in the book are complete， not also including the symptoms， syndrome differentiation and pathogenesis analysis， treatment and the choice of medicine， but also descriptions of details about the process of disease and diagnosis and treatment， with literary ornament.
