Persuasive Essay Nowadays there are generally two kinds of school in the world. One is mixed-gender schooling. And, apparently, another one is single-gender schooling. So you are bound to ask that which kind of school is appropriate for your girls or boys when you have to send them to obtain knowledge in a school. For example, some radical experts said that single-gender schooling can improve students’ academic performance, decrease gender stereotyping and eliminate institutional sexism. But much to our regret this sort of reform of schooling does not lead to those meaningful gains for students, but exactly lead to the opposite. Therefore I naturally assume that mixed-gender schooling is better and more effective than single-gender schooling, according to many references and statistical data. As was well-accepted by many individuals, students from a coeducational school are generally more understanding of their opposing sex than those who are in a single-gender school. It is reasonable that one must be able to understand and cope with members with different personality types to be counted as maturity. Therefor if one is studying in a single-gender school, with this point, how can he or she has access to communicating with people of opposing sex face to face? To put it bluntly, they feel awkward, say stupid things and can’t talk to them like a real person because they don’t feel comfortable.
