中国上市银行高层管理团队背景特征与组织绩效关系实证研究

中国上市银行高层管理团队背景特征与组织 绩效关系的实证研究 内容摘要 高层管理团队的背景特征的影响其认知和价值观,最终影响战略选择正确与否。基于前人研究,针对性探讨银行业的高管背景特征的影响。通过对16个上市银行样本进行多元线性回归分析可知,平均年龄和年龄、背景和任期异质性都与银行绩效之间负相关。团队规模和教育水平与银行绩效的实证都没有得到支持。基于实证结果,本文建议银行打造一支年龄集中于45—50岁、学术背景与任期相似的和有丰富工作实践经验的高层管理队伍。 关键词:高层管理团队 上市银行 异质性 背景特征 Abstract The character of top management team members has an impact on their cognition and sense of worth,finally affecting on the validity of strategic selection.This article is investigated on effects of TMT character specially in banking industry on the basic of fomer research.After havingmultiple regression analysis on 16 listed banks,I found that average age ,age, heterogeneity,background heterogeneity and working period heterogeneity have negative correlation with bank performance.The correlation between both team size and average education level ,however,wasn’t gotten practical support.As a result,it was suggested to build top management team in banking industry whose menbers are aging from 45 t0 50 ,and have similar academic backgroud and working period and rich practical experience.
