I I 摘 要 近十几年来，国家越来越重视高等职业院校的发展，越来越关注高等职业院校的教育。 但是，由于高等职业院校教学条件较落后，学生基础较薄弱，高等职业院校中便存在着大 量的学困生。调查表明，英语学困生在高等院校学困生中所占比例最大。所以，对于高等 职业院校英语学困生的研究已变得迫不及待。同时，非智力因素对学生的影响也越来越受 到人们的关注，而意志品质又是非智力因素中最为关键的因素。但是在目前的教学中，对 英语学困生意志品质的调查及意志品质因素对英语学困生成绩造成多大程度的影响还没 有引起广大教师的足够重视。因此，在高等职业院校英语学困生成绩低下、英语学困生数 量逐年增长的大背景下，展开对英语学困生意志品质状况的调查及讨论，对于实现高等职 业院校英语学困生的转化开辟了一条新的思路。 本文以国内外对学困生及意志品质的相关研究为基础，以人本主义理论、自我效能感 理论为依据，以济宁市某高等职业院校大学二年级英语学困生为研究对象，采用文献研究、 问卷调查、个别访谈等方法展开调查研究，对英语学困生意志品质做了定量与定性分析。 通过对济宁市某高等职业院校英语学困生前期意志水平测试发现他们意志水平普遍低下， 而且意志品质四要素（自觉性、果断性、自制性、坚韧性）对其影响程度各不相同，其中 在意志品质的自制性与坚韧性方面表现最为突出。其后，通过对该院校英语学困生英语意 志品质培养后，发现所调查的英语学困生意志品质水平及英语成绩均有所提高，这就证明 非智力因素中意志品质因素是造成该院校英语学困生成绩低下的重要原因。同时也为转化 该院校英语学困生的转化提供了实证性的证据，对英语学困生英语成绩的提高具有一定的 指导意义。 关键词：高等职业院校；英语学困生；意志品质 II II Abstract In the past ten years, the higher vocational education in China was paid growing attention. However, due to the poor teaching conditions and the weak foundation of study, there are a great number of underachievers in vocational institutions. The survey shows that the number of underachievers is the highest in higher vocational institutions. So it is imperative to study the English underachievers in the higher vocational institutions. At the same time, more attention is paid to the non-intellective factor in which will quality is the crucial factor of it. Under the current English teaching atmosphere, many English teachers do not lay their emphasis on the survey of the will quality of English underachievers and do not attach the importance to what extent the will quality will influence the English underachievers’ scores either. Therefore, in terms of the low grades of English underachievers’ and the number of English underachievers’ increasing year by year, it’s time to investigate and analyze the situation of their will quality, which in turns will find a new way to transform the English underachievers.
