STUDY ON FUNCTION POSITIONNING AND ORGANIZATION OF URBAN COMPLEX ABSTRACT As intensive urban organizationing form, urban complex emerged with the improving of social and economic development, our country’s fsat urbanization and prevalence of large urban projects. It becomes the focus of urban development for it’s diversified functions, various spacial types and combined values. Many cities regard it as important ways to improve its competitiveness. Function is the core of urban complex, is the carrier of urban complex’s value, so, function positionning and organization is the most important issue of urban complex planning. Further, function positonning and organization of urban complex is much more difficult than common projects, the study on it has realistic significance. The thesis firstly analysed and summarized urban complex’s developing history, characters, motives and related theories, Based on the study on the composition and interaction of urban complex’s function, studied the core issue of urban complex’s planning: function positioning and organizaton. About function positioning, on the funderment of the study on influent factors, the thesis summaried function positioning types applied different conditions, constructed a type-selecting model, presented the process and ways to adjust and optomize it at last. About function organization, the theis firtly summarized the principles of function organization, then sutdied the overall organization, subsystem’s adaptable organization of urban complex’s function in turn. Expecting the study above can benefit urban complex’s programing, developent and construction.
