The Research of Stench Electronic Nose Information Processing Technology ABSTRACT Odor is the gas that all can damage the environment of human life and which smell unbearable and make people unpleasant. There are many kinds of odorous substances, it has more than 4000 kinds which can be felt by human sense of smell to date including dozens of harm, such as thiols, nitrogen, hydrogen, dimethyl disulfide, trimethylamine, formaldehyde, styrene, butyric acid and phenols. These odor pollution comes mainly from the pollution which caused by the peoples production and life, Including livestock and poultry slaughter, petrochemical, bio-pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, sewage pumping stations, sewage treatment, garbage transport and centralized treatment and landfill. Environmental issues has been growing concern with the attention of the people for their own health. Odor pollution also increasingly attracted peoples attention. The rapid increase of fog and haze in recent years, especially the city of fog and haze across the country in 2012 increased and duration also extended so it brings attention to the environmental air quality problems. Odor pollution control must have an accurate detection first, artificial method detection odor is not only time consuming but also very inaccurate due to subjective factors, with machines instead of people, it is particularly important to use the machine detects the odor. This paper describes the design of the odor electronic nose system, including the design of the hardware portion and software portion. The important described is characteristic value cxtracting and the pattern recognition technique of data processing section, and applicated the PCA, ICA and Neural network technology identifying and detecting the standard gas.
