Applications And Research Of The Multi-project Management Of Telecommunication Companies ABSTARCT With the great development of China’s telecommunications industry, telecommunications have also been developed. The telecommunications engineering projects, construction projects and other new technologies’ projects have been all increasing, how to develop the Chinese telecom companies’ project management to keep up with the speed of Chinas telecommunications industry development is going to be a topic worth discussing and studying. With the increasing of the number of telecom companies’ projects, the independent, distributed single-project management methods are no applicable anymore. To adapt to this changing situation, compensate for the lack of traditional project management, by analyzing the telecom companies multi-project management deficiencies and based on the multi-project management theory and the practice, it proposed a multi-project management application defect mode that could help telecom companies to improve and make up multi-project management. In this paper, the author combines the multi-project management of the telecom companies and the theory of PMO, Project portfolio management, Programme Management, provided a multi-project management framework based on the PMO as a solution. It provides PMO architecture and function for telecom companies. Then it made good results in the practical application of the world expo.
