教育曙光第59卷第三期，2011年12月 道德與心靈教育：有關幼兒教育的幾個思考 吳梓明 香港中文大學 摘要 背景：近年來教育學者們愈來愈多關注「整全教育」及「以人（生活）為本」的道德與心靈教育，亦有主張 心靈教育應是屬於「人本教育」和「整全教育」的一部分，建議教育工作者應多關注學生心靈的成長等（吳梓 明，2008；楊國強，2009；劉慧中，2010）。 討論焦點：本文嘗試從道德與心靈教育作為起點，探究幼兒需要怎麼樣的心靈教育，然後從香港幼兒教育的 個案研究中，提出幾個值得教育工作者進深思考的課題。 建議：教育當局及幼兒教育工作者應加強關注及投放更多的資源在幼兒心靈教育上，讓孩童們能獲得健康心 靈的成長。 總結：心靈教育也是以人(學生)為本的教育，它更也是整全教育的一部分，幼兒教育工作者的重要任務之一 是要培育幼兒心靈的成長，讓他們能夠在一個充滿愛心與照顧的環境中，獲得健康心靈的成長。 關健詞：道德教育、心靈教育、幼兒教育 Moral and Spirituality Education: Some Thoughts on Kindergarten Education in Hong Kong Peter Tze Ming NG The Chinese University of Hong Kong Abstract Background: Moral Education has been gaining more attention in recent years, especially with a growing concern for holistic education and humanistic life-centred approaches, and with special reference to the caring for spirituality education in early childhood education. (Ng, 2008; Yeung, 2009; Lau, 2010) Aims or Focus of Discussion: The present paper will start by enquiring what sort of education is needed by young children today. Based on some literature reviews and a recent study of kindergarten education in Hong Kong, some relevant questions are brought for discussions in this paper, esp. the ones regarding the educational needs for spiritual growth among young pupils from kindergarten. Suggestions: It is suggested that education authority and educators should be given more time and resources to promote the care for spirituality education in schools, so that kindergarten teachers would be better trained and equipped for humanistic and holistic education.
