For human sustainable development, the harmony between human and nature is a critical issue. Only as far as the urbanization is concerned, people cannot allow urban unbridled expansion. Therefore, it would be a very necessary process of the urban development shifting from two-dimensional to three-dimensional. Then in the city there are more underground structures. In those underground structures, the construction of Underground Street is firstly considered. For the people’s interests, the problems of the underground street’s construction which would be encountered in process or have encountered need to be gradually resolved in the current stage. There isn’t uniform construction method because of the different locations and different soil conditions and so on. However, the choice of construction methods has inestimable impact on a project; therefore the choice of construction method is a problem which is worth researching. The construction methods of Underground Street mainly include the up-down method and down-up approach. In this paper, through MIDAS software the construction process of Underground Street which is constructed with up-down method and down-up approach is simulated. And their effects are analyzed in order to provide a reference for the selection of construction methods to the similar projects. The main contents of this article are as follows: Use MIDAS software to simulate the construction process of the Underground Street which is built with up-down method and down-up approach respectively.
