My family are watching TV.现在8点了。我们一家正在看电视。 the Smith family指“史密斯一家”。 考向 “…… 一家人”在句中作主语时,谓语动词用复数。 eg:The Browns/The Brown family are friendly to everyone.布朗一家对每个人都友好。 讲解来自《点拨》 知识点 2 【易错点】也可以用the Smiths来表示,即“the+姓氏复数”表示“……一家人”,等于“the+姓氏单数+family”。 eg:the Green family=the Greens 格林一家 典例 Its seven oclock.
