论初中英语教师的自我发展 摘 要：本文论述了初中英语教师为什么要自我发展、初中英语教师怎样自我发展、及初中英语教师自我发展的方向。对初中英语教师努力的方向和提高自身的素质，从而提高初中英语教学质量有着重要的指导作用。初中英语教师所教的内容是外国语言，他必须具备更多的与教学有关的外国语言、文化、文学的修养和造诣。初中英语教师特有的基本素质是由英语学科的性质所决定的，它的独特性是由影响英语学习的主要因素所决定的。初中英语教师必须具备较为系统的现代语言学理论；必须懂得相当的英语学习理论；必须具备较为扎实的专业技能；必须具备现代教学的意识和在教学中运用现代技术的能力。 关键词：初中 教师 发展 On Advice for the Self-development of Junior High School English Teachers Abstract：This paper discusses the reasons, the methods and the directions of the self-development for the junior high school English teachers. At the same time this paper offers some opinions for the self-development of these English teachers, and thus improve the quality of junior high school English teaching . The author has the opinions that to develop the country relays on science and education, and the education is the basis. The key of education reform is the concept of these teachers. The prerequisite and effective protection for the implementation of quality education is improving the quality of teachers. English teachers’ self-development should be autonomous. To become improving teachers they must learn to reflect on their own education and teaching, at the same time they have to continue to explore newer and better, more scientific teaching methods through thinking and developing. English teacher , first of all, must possess the general quality of an ordinary educators; as a language teacher, he has to know the characteristics of his work which are based on the special social and cognitive functions of human language. English teachers teach a foreign language, so they must grasp more cultivation and attainments of foreign language, culture and literature. The unique quality of English teachers is determined by the nature of the English discipline, its uniqueness is determined by the main factors affecting English learning.
