ABSTRACT Metal-Organic Frameworks have been the research focus for many years because of their particular porous structure and the tunable chemical components and topology．With the development more than twenty years，MOFs studies ale shifting from the design and synthesis ofnewly functional crystal structures to the synthesis and application ofMOF-based composites and MOF derivatives．The formation ofMOF Composite is one alternative way to broaden the scope of applications for MOFs from gas absorption，separation and catalysis to new fields such as sensing，drug delivery,and electrochemical applications．MOF composites materials composed of one MOF and one or more distinct constituent materials，including other MOFs，with properties noticeably different from those of the individual components．In composites，the advantages of both MOFs(structural adaptivity and flexibility,high porosity with ordered crystalline pores)and various kinds of active materials(unique optical，electrical，magnetic and catalytic properties)carl be combined effectively,and therefore，new physical and chemical properties and enhanced performance that are not attainablebytheindividualcomponentsmaybeaccessed．Theremarkablenewpropertiesandmultifunctional nature of the emerging MOF composite materials will stimulate the emergence of innovative industrial applications in a diverse range of technologically important fields．These MOF composites may be used directly as innovative advanced materials or as precursors of novel inorganic solids，providing promising applications in fimctional and protective coatings，storage and separation,heterogeneous catalysis，sensing， biology and medicine．On the other hand，MOFs with large surface areas，adjustable pore sizes and incorporated redox metal centers becoming a new type ofpromising electrode materials in SCs．To allow fast diffusion of active ions during charging／discharging process，pristine MOFs with tailored pores or channels III 万方数据 万方数据 are desirable for applied in
