This paper reviewed the study situation and tendency of forest hydrology in two research direc- tions of individual hydrological processes and the effect on the hydrological processes of forest e- cosystems. T he research progress and models of individual hydrological processes including canopy interception, soil infiltration, evapo-transpiration, runoff, and soil water movement,were introduced.
