Abstract Intelligent circuit breaker is one of the important symbol of intelligent substation, intelligent circuit breaker is made up by conventional circuit breaker and intelligent components, has a substaintial distinction in the aspect of informatization and intelligent and traditional traditional circuit breaker. As the demand of the power system getting more and more, intelligent circuit breaker facing greater challenges in generation, transmission and distribution. The intelligent circuit breaker has directly ffect on the security and stability of the power. Especially in IEC61850Ed 2.0 of intelligent circuit breaker IED information modeling and equipment condition monitoring, the analysis and diagnosis of content make such important changes, put forward higher requirement of intelligent circuit breaker, so as to adapt to the needs of the development of intelligent substation. In this paper, the upgrade process of the version and the content were analyzed. analysis of the impact of Ed 2.0 standard of intelligent circuit breaker, and the new requirements of intelligent circuit breaker, through comparing with Ed 1.0, focuses on analyzing intelligent a equipment condition monitoring, analysis and diagnosis standard specifically for intelligent circuit breaker. Then a companys intelligent circuit breaker products were analyzed, and accorded to IEC61850Ed 2.0 modeling process, decomposited the function of condition monitoring of intelligent circuit breaker, build up the complete model of intelligent circuit breaker by classified the logical nodes , logical data and the data attributes,based on the characteristic of frequent operation of low voltage circuit breaker.
