GREETINGS: Task One : Learn to sing an English song < Shake My Hands>. Steps Teacher Students Aims Step 1 Play the song and encourage the students to sing together. Learn to sing the song and make gestures together. Do the warming- up activity. Step 2 Self-introduction and get some Ss to introduce themselves. Introduce themselves and get to know the teacher. Get close to the students, break the strange feeling between teacher and students. II. ACTIVITIES Task Two: Talk about the famous places and travel plan. Steps Teacher Students Aims Step 1 Show some photos, ask Ss to guess the name of the famous places of Dongguan and China. Take a competition between boys and girls. Have a competition between boys and girls. Guess the names of the places. Activate the love to their hometown and arouse their interest of learning geographical knowledge. Step 2 Ask students to make a survey, hand out the paper to the students. Interview their classmates, talk about their travel plan. Advocate studying through cooperation and communication.
