初步了解动词的第三人称单数形式。
能在板书的提示帮助下基本复述三位宠物英雄的故事。
培养学生关爱动物的情感。

T:How many animals are mentioned in this song? What are they?
S:Five. The cat,the bird, the rabbit, the fish and the dog.
T: You’re smart.
T: These animals are pets too.(教学pets)
T: I like pets. They’re cute. Do you like pets?
Ss: Yes.
T: I like rabbits.They look beautiful. What pet do you like?
S: I like... T: Why? S: They’re lovely.
S: I like... They’re our friends.
S: I like...They look beautiful.
T:OK. Now Let’s look at these pets.Who are they? S:汪汪队
T:Yes. They’re paw patrol.These dogs always help people and other animals in difficulty. So they’re not only pets. They’re heroes. Do you know heroes? Look! They’re superheroes in the film.They save the world when the world is in danger.Liu Hulan and the firemen are human heroes in our real life.In the cartoon, these dogs are great.They’re pet heroes.(教学pet heroes)

T: Today our topic is pet heroes. Now we’re going to meet three pet heroes in our real life.What do you want to know about them? Can you ask some questions?
S: Who are they? Where do they live? Why are they pet heroes? What do they do?...(板书Who,Where,What等)
T:I’ll show you the three pet heroes one by one. Look,the first pet hero is ... S:A parrot.
T: What can a parrot do? S: It can talk and fly.
T:It can also peck and claw.(教学peck,claw,出示图片并做动作)
T:Can you act as a parrot to peck and claw?
S:Yes.(请学生做)T:Wonderful!
T: This is the second pet hero.Is it a monkey?
Ss: No.
T: It’s a donkey.(教学donkey)
What can it do?
S: It can run.

T:The third pet hero is a whale.What colour is it?
S:It’s white. T: So it’s a white whale.
