The The Simultaneous Optimization of Technology Process and Energy Transformation System Abstract The global energy consumption is increased rapidly，on the other hand the energy which can be utilized easily is limited．So it takes an important part in the development of national economy to use energy effectively and reaso ．as an energy—intensi ve chemical industry，the whole chemical process from the raw material to the production Involves energy supply，exchange，recovery，et．al，So，it iS more important to save energy and reduce energy consumption．Much work has been done about local optimization．According to the svstem engineering theory，local optimization does not mean global optimization．Therefore simultaneous optimization of technologv process and heat exchange networks can bring more economic profit．In this paper，the previous work is comprehensively reviewed．on the basis of this summary，a new method named superstructure regression method IS put proposed．It can be used to solve the simultaneous optimization problem，that means to obtain the optimum flowsheet structure and optimum operatmn parameters contemporarily．A11 of this help promote sawng the resource and make good use of it． 1￡le optimization of a superstructure regression mode【iS a MINLP (mixed integer nonlinear programming)problem jn mathematics．Up tO the present，there iS no general and effective method to solve tbe MINLP problems．In allusion tO the MINLP character，a new method caIled the integer variables continuation technique is tried．It can bypass the difficulties brought by the discrete variables in the process of optimization．After testing literature examples，the optimization of ammonia loop has been verified by this method．It can provides an 儿 important important reference scheme for the engineers to determine the optimum flowsheet structure and the optimum operation parameters． Because of the short time and limited experience，this work iS only the elementary study．If the arithmetic idea can be
