Exp erim en tal re su lts show that the reaction between hydroch loric acid and sludge under airtigh t condition is an equ ilib rium reaction , the reaction rate decrea se s exponen tially w ith the increa se of the in itial p re ssu re, the system gelling tim e increa se sw ith the decrea se of the pH value, and the p lugging p erform ance of the watergla ssgel enhanced foam system is sup erior to that of ord inary foam system due to the sm all foam diam eter and h igh in terfacial film strength.
