字的不同形体间的发展关系进行了图解。这一章所开展的工作在相关的研究领域尚属于一种全新的尝试。 字的不同形体间的发展关系进行了图解。这一章所开展的工作在相关的研究领域 尚属于一种全新的尝试。 第六章我们主要对相关理论问题作了一些较为深入的探讨。我们首先探讨了 东巴文异体字形成的原因。东巴文异体字形成的原因有许多方面，但总的来说这 些原因主要可以归纳为两大类，即文字的自身原因及文字的外部因素，对此我们 都作了具体的说明。其次我们还探讨了东巴文异体字的特点。东巴文异体字的特 点是在前文相关统计的基础上归纳出来的，而这些特点的形成又有其各自的原 因，对此我们都作了具体的分析。最后我们分析了东巴文异体字研究对汉字异体 字研究的启发作用。通过对东巴文异体字的系统研究，我们发现其中有很多地方 对汉字异体字的研究有着一定的启发意义，这可以说也是本文相关研究工作开展 的又一大实际意义。 文章最后，我们还附录了一张根据《纳西象形文字谱》制作的东巴文异体字 总表，主要列出了异体字形、字义和结构说明、字音、结构类型等几项，以便读 者参照。 2 AbstractDongba Abstract Dongba characters used tiIl 1950s by Naxi nationality in the Southwest of China is necessary and important part of our Chinese culture． ThiS iS the first complete and systemic research on all variants in the book Naxi Pictograph Character Chart wri tten by Fang Guoyu．Not only does it devote slightly to the Naxi Written Linguistics but also provides certain reference to the general written 1inguisti CS，comparatire written 1inguistics，the written history and other nations’written linguiStiCS． Chapter I．Introduction．The meaning，history and deficiency about the Study on Naxi variants are concerned．The definition of Naxi variants， process and other correlated problems are also mentioned． Chapter II．The statistics on Dongba character variants．First，the number of Dongba variants and total characters are collecting．According to the statistics，there are 505 variant groups in Naxi characters，from 2 to 7 in each group，totally 1208 characters．The number of Naxi characters are 1581 if each group iS considered as one character whereas the number are 2283 if each variant iS regarded as one character．Moreover， various investigations have been done on Naxi variant distributing according to the Naxi category and part of speech in Naxi Pictograph Character Chart，and the correlative conclusion has been drawn upon consequentlY． Chapter III．Discussion on Naxi variant structure types．According to the analysiS，there are pictographs， associative compounds， self—explanatory characters，meaning loan character
