AbstractSeries Abstract Series of problems occurred in cities’development in the setting of industrial revolution，have seriously threatened human’S healthy development． The“Green City”planning logos is brought up in this setting．As the entry of 1980s，the ecological movement aimed at the harmony between man and nature is booming all over the world．In China，the study and practice on the“green city’’planning and construction have been far behind developed countries in depth and extent，thus it worth studying and practicing thoroughly．Baiyun District is the major Industrial Zone in Guiyang，for historical reasons，the city layout is not sound，the industrial pollution is severe and the human living environment has been affected．Therefore，the paper sets the city planning and construction as the target to probe into the“green city”theory and search for a practical method to develop and build“green city”in Baiyun District． The studying technique route：firstly,analyze the worldwide research status On the“Green City”theory,to define the research meaning．Secondly,in combination with the“green City”theory，this issue forwards the constructing principles and objectives 一to build a new human environment blueprint aiming at human’S health，all-round development and the harmony between man and nature． The thesis mainly consists of the following parts：(1)The present condition and analysis of Baiyun District．The analysis mainly emphasizes on the city society,economy,the artificial and natural systems，and then find out problems existing in its current development．Objectively the green development logos need to be set to build the“green city”in Baiyun District．(2)The basis of planning theory for constructing“Green City”in Baiyun District．This part thoroughly analyses“green city”logos in definition，essence，connotation， developments developments target，and evaluation system etc．，and bring forward guiding ide0109y，basic principle of“green city’’constructing in the Baiyun District as well
