PEP Book 8 Unit 2 Last weekend B Let’s learn 嘉善县泗洲小学 罗意 一、教学目标 1. 能听、说、读、写四个动词词组及有关的时间词组:read a book, saw a film, had a cold, slept, last weekend, last night, last Monday, yesterday, the day before yesterday. 2. 能熟练运用句型: What did you do …? / Did you…? 进行提问作答。 3. 正确使用上述单词和词组描述人物在过去时间做的事情。 4. 了解常见一般过去式动词的不规则形式;了解常与一般过去式搭配使用的时间状语。 二、教学重难点 重点: 1. 掌握Let’s learn中的短语并能用它们进行替换练习。 2. 能熟练运用句型: What did you do …? / Did you…? 进行提问作答。 难点:能正确使用动词一般过去式形式描述人物在过去做的事情。 三、教学准备 多媒体、文本单 四、教学步骤 Step1 Warming-up Free talk: What day is it today? / What’s date today? / What’s weather like today? Enjoy some pictures about spring and have a chat. Brain storm: Say the phrases about last weekend. Recall and say: How was your weekend? / What did you do last weekend? Step2 Presentation 1. Present the new phrases. (1) According to the pictures, let students guess how was my Saturday/ Sunday? (2) Use the sentences “ Did you …?” and guess:What did I do last Saturday/ Sunday? (3) Teach the new phrases one by one. 2. Present the time words. Accoring to the calendar, teach these words one by one. 3. Listen and answer, then listen and repeat: Amy’s last weekend. 4. Ask and answer about your unforgettable day. 5. Talk the grammar about the Past Tense. 6. Fill in the blanks. Step 3 Consolidate the four verb phrases. 1. Write a small passage about your unforgettable day. 2. Talk about your passage in four. Use these sentences “ What did he/she do…? Did he/she …?” 3. Homework
