Teaching plan for Unit 3 Part B Let’s talk 贾丽艳 [Teaching material version]:PEP Primary School English, Grade 6 [The name of the course]:Unit 3 Let’s try and Let’s talk of part B [Analysis of teaching material]: This class we will learn the general interrogative sentence of the Past Tense. We have learnt the Past Tense for two classes. The students can say some sentences like: What did you do last weekend? I watched TV, washed clothes, read books, went to a park, went hiking……Ask them to pay attention to the general interrogative sentence, for example: Did you go hiking? Yes, I did. or No, I didn’t. [Analysis of the students]: Most of the students have the interest of studying English. But some of them don’t want to learn it. Especially the Past Form of the verbs, they can’t remember it clearly .So the teacher must mobilize the enthusiasm of the students. [Teaching goals]: They can listen、speak、read and write the sentences: Did you read books? Yes, I did./No, I didn’t. They can listen to the tape clearly and circle the right picture. They can understand “let’s chant” and chant together. They can talk about the activities freely like this: What did you do yesterday? Did you go hiking? [Emotion goals and strategy]: Training them to arrange their lives. Through the memory games, training their memories. [Teaching points]: Important points: the general interrogative sentence of the Past Tense Difficult points: the same as the important points. [Teaching process]: Step I Warm-up Greetings: I hope all of us will be happy and active. Listen to an English song: Last weekend. Let the students clap their hands and sing follow it. Let’s say: Let them say the Past Form of the verbs. For example, the teacher say “go to a park”, the students say“went to a park”.The verbs include“play, read water, watch, wash, listen, clean, visit”.The students can stand up and say it if they can. A game: sharp eyes. Let the students look at the screen carefully, show some pictures of the students
