Emotional education: According to the story, educate students how to express gratitude to their parents. II.Teaching focus and difficulty: 1. Teaching focus: ① Skim the passage to get the main idea, scan the passage to know about the details. ② with the help of the picture book, students are able to understand the story ,get more details and develop students’ good reading habits. Ask students to predict what happened to the tree according to the picture. Predict what the story is about according to the picture. Let students know about the importance of predicting and how to predict before reading. New words Teach students to read the new words of the tree.. Follow the teacher to read the new words.
