DSP based speed controller design of switched reluctance motor

Abstract : A digital signal processor is applied tothe switched reluctancemotor drives (SRD) in this pa
per. The system presents a closed- loop speed control method utilizing PWM techniques and thehigh-
speed performance associated with DSP. In the system theTMS320LF2407 DSP works as a control pro
cessor, position feedback as a closed feedback, and human- machine interface is also designed. In ad
diction, the control algorithm and interface software are realized in modules. Therefore, the SRM full
digital control is proposed.
