华中科技 大学硕士 学 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract As scientific theory advancing continuously, the role of Hypothetico- Deductivism(H-D) becomes more and more important. H-D is a method in forming scientific theory by combining of scientific hypothesis and logic deduction; it provides solutions to the problems of induction rationality and dependence of deduction premise existing in the process of constructing theories, and manifests scientific exploring spirit in scientific discovering strongly. As a result, H-D is taken as a basic investigation method in contemporary science, called as “the powerful lever of modern development of science”. However, various opinions have been talking about explanations and functions of H-D in different historical periods. Especially, many conforming models were left after the H-D’s transition from scientific discovering method to scientific conforming method; meanwhile, there are problems in these models, such as problems of irrelevance in tacking by conjunction and disjunction, problem of irrelevant evidence and problem of example conforming. Thus, a inspection on explanations and models of H-D in the perspective of the history of science, will have an important and profound meaning for future studying and developing of H-D. This paper begins with the developing process of H-D and conforming models, analyzes problems in former development, and provides reasonable suggestions and methods on this foundation. The article contains three parts: introduction, the main body and conclusion, and the main body is divided into three chapters: Chapter 1: introduces H-D and its developing history; Chapter 2: introduces、analyzes and comments on the 8 models of H-D and their advantages and disadvantages, trying to extract a novel、reasonable suggestions.
