Once an enterprise or the supply chain has the cash bottlenecks, its normal operations wonld encounter a great impact, so that its comprtitiveness would being undermined. Inventory as an key element of the enterprise management aiways take up much cash of the enterprise. How to obtain the cash when the cash constraint occurs, how to develop the optimal inventory policy would have great significance to the enterprise and the manager. This thesis based on the cash constraints of the inventory management of the supply, suppose the retailer would meet the phenomenon of the cash constraints when the payment time maturity. And then this paper firstly pay attention to the products whose demand rate have great variation in different seasons, applies the supply chain financial management to deal with the cash constraints of the newsboy model and establishes a new single-cycle model. In this model, stocking out is allowed, the sales of the product, financing interest and the credit period are also considered. Then, we solve the model and obtain a series of useful management conclusions through the sensitivity analysis and the comparison with the classical newsboy model, the proposed model provides a new method for the retailers to administrate the cash and inventory. Secondly, this thesis pay attention to the products whose demand rate have little variation in different seasons, applies the supply chain financial management to the classical multi-period model under the cash constraints and establishes a new model. In this model, we use the (R,S) replenishment policy, the sales of the product, financing interest and credit period are also considered.
