AbstractIn Abstract In this paper，the author used the methods of qualitative analysis，quantitative analysis，investigation，data analysis，analyzed the characteristics of the basic conditions for the development of agricultural industry in Jiuquan City and，the situation of and constraints in the development of featured agricultural industry, aiming at seeking all approach to futher develop the featured agricultural industry in the city of Jiuquan． First，Jiuquan Cityas a major hub on the ancient Silk Road，has a unique natural resources and a long history．With convenient transportation and complete infrastructure and，rapid economic development，Jiuquan enjoys the basic conditions for the development of featured agricultural industry． Secondly,Jiuquan City,based On the strength of resources，drew up development plans for agricultural industry,actively adjusted the agricultural structure，strongly constructed featured farm product bases，actively developed efficient water_saving agriculture with features，initially realized the industrialized operation of the featured agriculture． Thirdly,although，in recent years，the featured agriculture of Jiuquan saw a rapid development，generally speaking，the quality of labor is lOW,the scientific and technological investment is insufficient，leading enterprises lacks strong anti。risk ability,system construction is slow and，the ecological environment is worsened． These restraining factors are becoming the bottleneck problem against the sustainable and rapid development of the featured agriculture in Jiuquan City． Fourth，to science，technology,investment and our peasants skill training and expedite the land contracted SO efficient and comprehensive development of agriculture through saveing water for special agricultural industry bottleneck problems proposal． In this article，the author hopes that through a more comprehensive understanding of the featured agriculture in Jiuquan City,she can offer some beneficial reference and experience for it．
