2009 Fall on Sustainable Development Law (I) Yiyuan (William) Su PAGE PAGE 1 Seminar: Sustainable Development Law (I) 永續產業法律專題(一) Syllabus Yiyuan (William) Su 蘇義淵助理教授 HYPERLINK mailto:su.yiyuan@ su.yiyuan@ Office Hour:Monday Thursday13:00PM~17:00PM 授課時間: Every Tuesday, 9:10 AM ~ 12:00 AM Room:731 Purposes 本科目設計以學年課，係永續發展學群之一。將講授與永續發展之法律概念與相關原理原則為起點，以法律觀點討論永續發展四大主題:社會、環境、經濟與組織之相關議題。原則上，上學期之專題(I)以基本概念與通論型等基本概念為主，下學期開設之專題(II)則以各論型（例如：經濟、社會、商業金融與科技發展等）之個別論點為主。 Requirements and evaluation 評分以口頭報告佔20%、書面報告佔 40% 與平日課堂討論參與佔 40%。鼓勵同學平時儘量參與並與老師保持溝通，期末考之後婉謝一切關說。 口頭報告進行方式則是修課同學選定下列題目之一，自第六週開始於課堂上依主題上台進行十分鐘之口頭報告，中文或英文方式進行均可，以英文方式報告者將於期末總分加五分以資鼓勵 。同學有其它屬意的題目可以與授課老師討論。 題目 The framework of capacity building for developing countries. Adaptation for developing countries. The project circle and cost of Clean Development Mechanism. The legal nature of carbon emission reduction credits. The taking clauses of Taiwan’s Constitution to emission allowances. The size of global emission trading market. The introduction of Global Environment Facility. The funds under global climate change regime. The investment flows of global carbon emission reduction activities. The public health to global warming. The food concerns to global climate change. The water sources management to climate change. 書面報告 前三週由老師領讀基本文獻與講解基本概念，第四週之後由每位同學自行選定一個永續發展相關議題作期末書面報告(可以預約office hour與授課老師討論)，並在第八週之前提出大綱與3-5頁摘要。期末考週最後一日之前繳交一萬字到ㄧ萬五千字之中文書面報告（A4，單行間距，標楷體，12號字，同頁註釋(footnote) ，引用Bluebook 之註釋格式(citation format) ，文末附參考文獻(bibliography)）。 進度與講授大綱 September 22.
