Teaching objectives: Instruction objectives: Language: The students will be able to master the rules of comparatives and superlatives. Students will be practicing the sentence patterns: as…as, not so…as, /-er and -er, / the+ -er, the+ -er, /of two, ... /one of+ -est . Ability: Students will be able to talk about the four seasons and the amazing China with comparatives and superlatives. Affection: Students will show an interest in the topic and be willing to share their opinions with target language with their group mates. Learner’s outcomes (evidence): The students will be able to finish a passage of four seasons with the rules of adjective degrees. The students will be able to answer the questions about some symbols of China with the target expressions. The students will be able to design an ad for a city in China with comparatives and superlatives. Teaching key points: 1. Students will review the rules of adjective degrees and use the target expressions. Teaching difficult points: How to guide Ss to understand and use the adjective degrees naturally and correctly.
