Grade8 Book1 Unit8 .The topic is about how to cook food. Describing the steps of cooking food by the new words and sentences. Review the countable nouns and uncountable nouns. SectionA (1a-1c) is about how to make a delicious drink-milk shake. It’s very easy. There are six steps to make a banana milk shake. After learning the steps ,students should know how to make any other kinds of milk shake by using the words like first, then, next ,finally etc. 教学目标 Knowledge Students learn some verbs about cooking food and review the countable nouns and uncountable nouns and adverb like then,next,finally etc.. Students learn the key sentences,like How do you make...? Students can repeat the steps about making a banana milk shake. Skill Students can describe how to make a kind of milk shake. Students practice their oral speaking and writing skills while they are trying to describe the steps of making food in the group discussion. They also utilize the words and expressions they have just learned. Attitude Students express their love to the delicious food and learn the difficulty about cooking food. Finally,realize the importance of helping their parents. 教学重点难点 The teaching key Students learn new words related to cook food . Students can get the process of cooking milk shake, and learn to use the ordering words like first, then,next,finally etc.and verbs like peel, drink ,and some phrases like cut up,put...in,pour...into,turn on and so on. The difficult points Students can use the words and phrases they have learned in oral English by describing cooking other food.
