Step1. Leading-in
1) Play the Chant If You are Happy and then introduce “ if ” structure with one question. When do you get up on weekends?
T: What will happen if you get up at 9:00 tomorrow?
S1: If I get up at 9:00, I will be late.
T: What will happen if you are late?
S2: If I am late, my teacher will be angry with me.
T: What will happen if your teacher is angry with you?
S3:If my teacher is angry with me, I will be sad.
Step2. Speaking practice
Give a condition on PPT and lead students to use “ if “.
T: If you are rich, what will you do ?
Ss: If I am rich,I will buy a big house./ go shopping / travel all over the world…
T: If you have a robot, what will you do?
Ss: If I have a robot, I will let it help with the housework, play with me, wake me up in the morning……
T: What will happen if Mary gets up at 9:00 tomorrow?

Practice like this, ask several students to answer.
Step3. Play a guessing game
What will happen if I touch(触摸) it?
Step4. Group-work
Work in groups to make a survey.
