Section A（1a-1c） 颍上三中李运 一、教材分析 1、教学内容：八下第七单元《What’s the highest mountain in the world? 第一课时。该课时围绕着有关世界的真实情况，谈论地理和自然，帮助学习学习世界之最。并要求学生通过运用形容词和副词的比较等级描述世界上不同的地理事物，学习用数词表示计量的方法来帮助学生了解世界。第一课时的教材使学生更明白英语的学习是在相互的交流中进行，在听、说、读、写中帮助学生了解大自然的奥秘，增强学生探索和热爱大自然，激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。 2、教学目标 1）语言目标：词汇：square,meter,deep,desert 句型： 1,A: What is the highest mountain in the world? B:Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world, it is higher than any other mountain in the world. 2, A: What’s the biggest desert in the world? B: Sahara is the biggest desert in the world. 3,A: What’s the deepest salt lakes in the world? B: The Caspian Sea is the deepest of all the salt lakes.. 4, A: What’s the longest river in the world? B: The Nile is the longest river in the world. 2 ）技能目标：1， students get familiar with the usage of the comparatives and superlatives of adjectives. 2， Students are able to read big numbers., 3 ）情感目标： 培养学生热爱大自然，保护环境的意识。 3、教学重点 1）学生通过运用形容词和副词的比较等级描述世界上不同的地理事物 2）学习用数词表示计量的方法来帮助学生了解世界 4、教学难点 1）学习用大数字以及形容词、副词的比较等级来谈论自然事物，世界之最。 二、学情分析 通过初中一年半的英语学习，大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事，有一定的英语听说能力。教师应指导学生既要主动地学习又提倡学生合作交流来共同运用新知识进行语言表达，促进学生创新意识的形成与听、说、读、写的培养。 三、教学方法：问答法，pairwork谈论法 四、教学过程 Step1：Warming-up 1）、play a game to review comparatives and superlatives of Adjectives 2）、复习形容词、副词的比较级和最高级的构成 Step2：学习新词 用多媒体展示单词，学习square,meter,deep,desert这些单词，然后带读并用个别单词造句。在教授学生读Qomolangma, the Sahara, the Caspian Sea, the Nile, 教师向同学提问造句：What’s the highest mountain in the world? What’s the longest river in the world? Step3：学习新句型 呈现图片，教师问： What’s the longest river/ highest mountain in the world? 引导学生回答： Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world . 教师问：How long/high is.....? 引导学生回答：It’s .....meter long/high. 用图片，师生问答What’s the longest river/ highest mountain in China?
