Step3Section A Presentation
1. Ask questions about what studentsdid last weekend?
(1)Who went to the movies last weenkend?
Sara went to the movies last Saturday.
(2) Ask:Who visited his/her aunt last Saturday?
Mary visited her aunt last weekend.
(3)Ask How was your weekend?
2.(Point to the words went and visited in the sentences on the board.)
Say,We use these words to talk about things that happened in the past.
(Write these pairs of words on the board:go--went, visit --visited)
Ask: Can you point out the words that talk about the past?
