Section A 1a 课型 听说课 1.教学内容分析 本课时以“Unforgettable events”为话题展开一系列教学活动，学习过去进行时态和when/while引导的状语从句的用法。1a引导学生观察图片，利用图片来培养学生情景思维和讲故事的能力，1b-1c呈现单元核心句型——过去进行时。2a-2c是另一组系列听力活动，呈现了when引导的时间状语从句。 2.学生情况分析 学生在七年级下册已学过现在进行时和一般过去时，而且掌握了一些描述日常活动的短语，并能够使用现在进行时来描述日常活动，这有利于他们学习过去进行时。但时间状语从句是学习中的难点，需要教师重点关注和引导。 3.教学目标分析 语言知识目标： 能理解并运用下列重点词汇：rainstorm, alarm, begin, heavily, suddenly, strange。 能初步理解过去进行时的用法，并作简单运用。 能区分when和while引导的时间状语从句。 语言技能目标： 能用过去进行时询问过去某个时刻正在发生的事情，如：What were you doing when the rainstorm came? 能听懂有关过去正在发生事件，并能够用简单语言描述自己的经历。 情感目标： 让学生爱上英语课堂活动，鼓励他们在课堂上进行合作交流。 4.教学重点、难点分析 教学重点： 学会运用下列重点词汇：rainstorm, alarm, begin, heavily, suddenly, strange； 学会运用when引导的时间状语从句 学会运用过去进行时及其特殊疑问句。 教学难点： 掌握过去进行时态结构，并能用过去进行时态讲述文中暴风雨来临时发生的事件。 5.教学过程设计 Step 1: Warming up Play a game with Ss to review the present progressive tense: do some actions and ask Ss to guess “What am I doing?” 设计意图：猜动作的热身活动能让学生迅速进入英语学习状态，同时起到复习现在进行时态的作用，并能自然地过渡到过去进行时态的呈现。 Step 2: Presentation 1. T: We are having English class now. What about at this time yesterday? What were you doing at this time yesterday? Help Ss answer the questions like this: I was reading a book. 2. Let Ss ask and answer in pairs. 设计意图：展示学生过去活动的图片，帮助他们用过去进行时态来回答。 Step 3: Listening 1. Show a picture of the rainstorm. Teach the words: rainstorm, heavily, suddenly 2. Show pictures in 1a and ask the question: Where were the people at the time of the rainstorm? Let Ss check the answer by asking and answering in pairs. 3. Let Ss look at the pictures again and ask the question: What was the girl doing when the rainstorm came?
