Abstract ：The characters quality evaluation is one of the key technologies in developing a teaching aid which is a function of writing on the prescribed format practical system.In this paper ，taking four-wire grid letters written exercises for example ， it raises a universal and integrated evaluation method on prescribed format written exercises.This method establishes a refer- ence object model and the quality of description words for each character.The evaluation contents consist of scale ，location ， and so on.Each category sets their own mathematical model of quality assessment and analysis of threshold ，through calculat- ing the distance describing the quality of parameters between the reference of compared model and analyzed model.Then threshold is defined and evaluation of the quality is given.Tests show that the evaluation methods and efficiency meet the needs of English language for the four-wire grid writen teaching aids and fulfill automatic counseling. Key words ：writing exercises ；automatic counseling ；four-wire grid ；English alphabets ；writing quality ；integrated evaluation 摘 要：开发具有教具功能的规定格式文字书写练习系统的关键技术之一是文字书写质量的评价。以四线格英文字母书写练习 为例，提出规定格式书写练习质量普适集成评价方法。该方法为每个练习对象建立参比模式及书写质量描述字，评价内容分为 比例、位置等4 类，每类设置各自的书写质量评价数学模型与分析阈值，通过计算参照比较模式和被分析模式质量描述参数间距 离，并进行阈值界定，给出文字书写质量的相关评价。实验表明，给出的评价内容、评价方法及评价的有效率可以满足面向四线 格英文文字书写教学的数字教具自动实现辅导的基本需求，普适性好。 关键词：书写练习；自动辅导；四线格；英文字母；书写质量；集成评价 DOI ：10.3778/j.issn. 1002-8331.2010.29.019 文章编号：1002-8331（2010 ）29-0069-04 文献标识码：Ａ 中图分类号：TP391
