Can you guess? Write the answer on the blackboard. Put the pencil-box on the teacher’s desk and ask: Is there a pencil-box on the teacher’s desk? Write the answer on the blackboard. Step2 Presentation Put a pencil-box behind one box and ask: Is there a pencil-box behind the box ? Present “behind ” Ss can easily get the meaning. Teach the words “between, under and in front of” in the similar way. Step3 Learn to say Ss open their textbooks on page 28 . They are asked to cover the sentences below the pictures and rewrite the Answer: There’s a pencil-box in it . S1:Is there a …in the pencil-box? Yes , there is . Guess the meanings of some key words. Practise writing sentences using Prep. according to the pictures. 。 sentences and then check whether they are right or not . Step4 Presentation Show several pictures and teach “bird, flower, lake, tree, climb, swim, pick, feed.” For example: Show a picture of a bird: What’s this? Is there a bird in the picture?
