PAGE PAGE 2 Project interviewing an expert教学设计方案 江苏省扬中市新坝中学 杨银 教学目标分析： Teaching aims: Make sure that student understand the text; Help the students develop the ability of reading diary entries; Make sure that students grasp the main idea of the text; 学习者特征分析（结合实际情况，从学生的学习习惯、心理特征、知识结构等方面进行描述）： 学生已经具备初步自主阅读的能力，掌握了一定的阅读方法。但他们对diary entries的阅读策略不太清楚。 教学重点难点： 提高学生阅读理解能力尤其是阅读旅游日记的技巧。 教学过程 Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead-in The teacher begins the lesson by showing a short video of Loulan in China The teacher introduces the topic: Pompeii vs. Loulan—Lost civilizations. 【设计说明】通过展示一段视频引入主题，调动学生的学习热情和兴趣，寓教于乐，水到渠成导入本课主题。 Step 2 Listening and skimming Ask students to listen to the tape recording and answer the questions: 1. Where are Pompeii and Loulan? 2.What is one main similarity between Pompei and Loulan? What was Loulan buried beneath? 【设计说明】通过听课文录音和回答问题完成对课文的初步理解。 Step 3 Reading Strategy Teach students what they should pay attention to when they read diary entries recording someone’s travels and complete some information about the text 【设计说明】教会学生如何阅读旅行日记，并且通过练习训练他们的阅读技巧。 Step 4 Careful Reading Ask the students to read the text, answer the questions and complete the form. 通过阅读课文、回答问题和完成表格对文章进行进一步的理解。 Step 5 Consolidation Let the students do some exercises to check how well they have grasped the passage. 【设计说明】通过选择和填空的练习检查学生理解掌握课文的情况。 Step6 Discussion Make students discuss the topic: What would you like to show to the aliens about our human civilizations if they came to our earth? Why? 【设计说明】从课文主题展开讨论，深化文章内涵，促使学生真正运用语言进行思想交流，提升学生的精神。 Step 7 Homework 1.Try to retell this passage 2.Read the passage again and find out the phrases or sentences which you can not understand 【设计说明】通过复述课文确保学生理解掌握课文，让学生找出不懂的句子和词汇，为第二课时做好准备。
